Financial Manager
Our client is one of the country’s leading fruit exporters, recruiting for a Financial Manager. Reporting to the Assistant Business Manager: Finance, you will be based at our Cape Town offices (Tygervalley-area).
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) include:
- Manage all payments to our Fruit Suppliers:
- Ensure on time and correct payment to our valued Fruit Suppliers
- Main contact between Finance and Fruit Suppliers
- Forecasting of Cash Estimates for weekly Fruit Suppliers payments
- Submission of Breeding Club Declarations
- Manage credit facility and credit risk to our Fruit Suppliers – mainly advances and seasonal production:
- Ensure all documents are in place for Due Diligence and Payback Analysis
- Create loan agreements and ensure accurate T&C’s
- FICA and NCR compliance
- GL Reconciliations - Timeous Review and Completion of Fruit Suppliers Related GL Recons
- Monthly Reporting - Contribution to accurate & timeous monthly and annual financial reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years middle financial management experience
- Experience in the Fruit Export Industry will be an advantage
