The Regional Manager will be responsible for leading (size of area), building and managing the required area by driving a sales
culture to deliver on the business objectives.
• Sales Operations through effective leadership -
-To ensure that the Management team is empowered to ensure relevant sales target are met and exceeded - - - - - -
-Develop and implement new sales strategies to ensure regional growth
-Ensuring that the Management team implements administrative duties to drive sales, including; the
implementation of markdowns, promotions and effective merchandising
-To keep the management team motivated to ensure staff morale within the region is at its optimum level
-Implement new and innovative strategies to reward performers and motivate non performers
-Focus on trends, opportunities and patterns relating to sales within the industry
-Keeping up to date with competitor service offerings and industry developments
• New store development -
-To ensure regional expansion in terms of continuously adding to the store compliment within your region -
-To source potential new stores within the region, conducting viewings of potential new stores and reviewing new
stores
• People Leadership -
-To ensure that Area Managers are equipped to drive sales within the region -
-Be the bridge of communication between Head Office and the Operations Team within the region
-Ensure that Area Managers are constantly motivated to ensure optimum levels of performance.
-To provide business leadership by upskilling Area Managers in all aspects ranging from increasing sales to ensuring
administrative functions are diligently carried out
-Ensure that relevant H.R. functions, including Disciplinary Hearings, CCMA, Recruitment, Training and Development
are efficiently carried out
• Administrative Management -
-Empower Area Managers to ensure administrative functions are efficiently carried out -
-Constant monitoring of Area Managers relating to Key Controls, Rosters, Marketing, Merchandising, Reporting,
-Stock Counts and Discipline Measures.

• A track record of leading people
• 5 years Management Experience within the apparel retail sector
• Attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Sound understanding of industry requirements
• Good Relationship building skills
• Tertiary Qualification advantageous
• Grade 12 qualification
