Your Role
The National Air Logistics Development Manager is responsible for driving company growth by maximizing existing business and developing new opportunities through strategic pricing, sales support, airfreight marketing, and customer support strategies. It involves training, guiding, mentoring, and motivating Air Logistics personnel within development and pricing structures. Additionally, the role includes developing, implementing, and providing sales and service support functions for targeted markets and programs to ensure overall success and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage trade lanes by building consolidation programs and planning origin sales calls.
- Handle pricing, including MSRs, RFQs, lane development, and LRAs.
- Guide the development of Air Logistics programs such as perishable, aviation, and pharma.
- Coordinate with the Sales organization on overall Air Logistics development.
- Work with countries and offices on Air Logistics development and carrier utilization.
- Evaluate and own the responsibility for Air Logistics programs and products to drive growth.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Have multiple years of experience in sales within the air logistics industry.
- Show a proven track record of developing and implementing air logistics programs.
- Possess excellent strategic planning and coordination abilities.
- Analytical skills and cultural adaptability.
- Exhibit strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English.
