Our client is urgently seeking a Financial Manager to join their team, based in East London.
Successful candidate to have a strong background in Finance and Accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial operations in a Construction and Manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements:-
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- SAIPA, SAICA, or other relevant professional certification
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Financial Management, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial management role, preferably in a Construction and Manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Proven track record of success in financial management and strategic planning
- Experience in risk management and financial instruments
- Advanced proficiency in Financial software and Excel
Duties:-
- Financial reporting of Monthly Management Accounts
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Overseeing of audits
- Reviewing of debtors, creditors and stock
- Overseeing monthly inventory stock counts
- Compiling import orders
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Other duties reasonably expected of a Financial Manager and as deemed fit by Management
