Senior ICU Nurse
*The Role:*
You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care of patients requiring level 2 and 3 care and will be expected to be able to provide general and specialised direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organisation.
_*What will your duties include?*_
* Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2&3 care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
* Prioritise nursing care, recognize deterioration in patient’s condition and escalate to the senior nursing team /clinicians immediately.
* Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

_*What we need from you?*_
* Active NMC Pin – with no restrictions
* Must be willing to undertake relevant post-registration courses
* Demonstrable clinical experience in the field of high acuity critically-ill adults
* Wide range of experience working in critical care specialties including cardiac and cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, renal, and GI surgery
* Completed 60 credits Adult Critical Care/Intensive Care Course or equivalent & Completed Step 1 Critical Care Competencies Course
