A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Production team for a Plate Maker to work a triple shift (earlies, evenings and nights) at our Rivendell site. Training available, experience within the industry is not necessary.
As a Flexographic Plate Maker at Rivendell, you will be responsible for the daily production of
flexographic plates, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet customer print schedules. This
includes managing workloads, prioritising jobs, and ensuring plates are produced to the highest
standards and specifications.
In addition to your core responsibility of plate production, you will uphold stringent quality
standards throughout the process. Flexibility is essential, including covering for absences,
holidays, and providing overtime support during peak periods to meet business demands.
Key Areas of Responsibility: - The production of flexographic plates for the Rivendell customers including Films, Flexibles, Paper, Corrugate and Sack market
- Adhere to all workload schedules within the dept to ensure consistent plate output at all times
- Collaborate with both internal and external teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client requirements, adhering to agreed SLAs
- Coordinate client requests efficiently by working closely with the appropriate Rivendell teams to ensure seamless progression
- Establish key working relationships with colleagues (and where applicable client base)
- Proactively address customer (internal and external) concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives to further enhance service levels
- Develop key working relationships with colleagues to ensure effective collaboration
- Understand the basics of flexographic plate making/Pre-press and flexographic printing
- Understand SOPs and suggest improvements where applicable
- Basic level of computer skills
- To provide the Plate Manager with current stock level as requested
- Report all H&S issues in keeping with company procedure
