Our client, a renowned firm in the water sector, is currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising the mechanical installation operations
- Ensuring that all mechanical works comply with the relevant safety and regulatory standards
- Coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely project completion
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to maintain quality control
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and fitters
- Reporting on project progress and troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Implementing and maintaining effective health and safety protocols
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records for project reporting
Job Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical engineering, specifically within the water industry
- Proficient in installation engineering and mechanical fitting
- Understanding of mechanical systems and equipment used in water projects
- Exceptional supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
