Management Accountant required for highly successful, high growth business with an excellent working culture based in Hoddesdon.

You will be joining a friendly, mid-sized team with a great team spirit, covering for each other with the day to work load and holidays.

Key accountabilities and duties include:

Prepare the monthly management accounts, including posting journals and preparing reports with both accuracy and with added value of analysis for the various target audiences. Ensure a focus on process improvements to achieve methods efficiency and information clarity.
Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly VAT return.
Maintain the Fixed asset register, accurately recording depreciation actual and forecast including monitoring work in progress.
Prepare and post journals to support the inter-company reconciliation process.
Actively assist and support the auditing process through the location and provision of accounts, supporting schedules and other documents and files as required.
Prepare supporting tax analysis schedules annually
Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monitor performance against budget/forecast.
Provide ad hoc financial information requests to operational management, government returns.
To perform such tasks as from time to time may be required

You will be a qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA with relevant experience.

It is essential that you are a team player and are able to build relationships both inside and outside of Finance
