Role summary
BetJets recently launched as a proud subsidiary of the 4Racing brand. Aiming to become one of South Africa’s premier online sports betting and casino entertainment providers. BetJets will provide innovative gaming solutions, traditional horse racing products and a superior sports betting offering, all backed up by five-star customer service.
We operate under the jurisdiction of the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board and uphold the principles of the National Responsible Gambling Programme, guaranteeing our adherence to stringent regulations to ensure a positive wagering experience.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team, supporting one of South Africa’s leading sports betting brands. This role is perfect for a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast- paced environment and has a passion for sports marketing. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of marketing activities that align with our brand’s strategic goals and sporting calendar.
Ideal Qualifications and Skills:
A degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the sports or entertainment industries.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and campaign management.
Experience with digital marketing, including social media, paid advertising, and influencer marketing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A passion for sports and an understanding of the sports betting industry is highly advantageous.
Daily Responsibilities
Oversee All Marketing Campaigns: Lead and manage the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across all platforms and aligning with brand objectives.
Campaign Planning: Develop and plan marketing strategies that are in line with the sporting calendar and key events, ensuring timely execution and maximum impact.
Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to design and implement engaging social media campaigns that drive brand awareness and audience engagement.
Paid Advertising Campaigns: Work closely with the Campaign Manager to develop, execute, and report on paid media strategies, optimizing for performance across various channels.
Influencer Marketing: Partner with the Partnership Manager to identify, engage, and manage influencers, delivering successful influencer marketing campaigns that align with brand objectives.
Retention Marketing: Collaborate with the Retention Manager to plan and execute targeted campaigns focused on customer retention and loyalty, measuring the success of initiatives and continuously optimizing for improved results.
Client and Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including regular meetings and presentations to ensure alignment with business goals.
Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports on the performance of marketing activities, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
