Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor (QS) based in Rivonia. Our client, a respected player in the construction and engineering industry, is looking for a dedicated professional who can contribute to their ongoing projects with expertise and precision. As a Mid-Level QS, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and cost control of construction projects. Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to advise on budgetary requirements. Manage and track project costs to ensure adherence to budgets. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to review project specifications. Evaluate contractor bids and prepare tender documentation. Assist in negotiations with contractors and suppliers to secure the best value. Monitor progress and advise on any adjustments that may be necessary. Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and reports. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and methodologies. Strong background in civil/infrastructure projects and building works, Experience working with the NEC3 contract. Proficiency in cost estimation and project management software. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
