Our Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Management Section Lead to join a growing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing complex construction projects, with a particular focus on marine works. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. Provide expert guidance and support to the design team during the design phases. Develop and implement effective project management strategies and processes. Manage construction contracts, claims, and dispute resolution processes. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Registered Professional Construction Manager or Registered Professional Engineer. Post-graduate degree or certification in construction project management (preferred). Proven experience in managing marine construction projects. In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and NEC suite of contracts. Expertise in contract management, claims, and dispute resolution. Proficiency in MS Office suite and other office software.
