P urpose of the role: The F&B Manager must ensure exceptional guest experiences through effective planning and management of orders, staff, and finances. The primary goal is to maximize sales and revenue by exceeding customer expectations, fostering a motivated team, and prioritizing quality and efficiency. A core focus of this role is managing large scale conference and banqueting events. By implementing innovative strategies and upholding high standards, the F&B Manager will drive the success of the department and enhance overall guest satisfaction Criteria: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Food & Beverage Manager in a 5-star environment, with proven expertise in Conference and Banqueting operations Degree / Culinary school diploma or in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or a related field Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS) Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities Effective communication skills, with a focus on building and maintaining customer and team relationships Ability to manage budgets and operational costs efficiently, including Conference and Banqueting functions Creative and proactive approach to menu development, F&B trends, and event-specific requirements Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets in all areas, including Conference and Banqueting Excellent proficiency in the English language Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee all F&B and daily operations, with a strong focus on Conference and Banqueting, ensuring they meet budgetary guidelines and adhere to high standards Maintain outstanding levels of internal and external customer service for all F&B services, particularly in Conference and Banqueting Design creative menus, manage purchasing, and implement continuous improvements tailored to event-specific needs Identify and proactively respond to customer needs and feedback, ensuring seamless execution of conferences and banquets Lead and develop the F&B team, including attracting, recruiting, training, and evaluating staff, with a particular emphasis on Conference and Banqueting roles Set targets, KPIs, schedules, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures, particularly for event operations Foster open communication and create a positive, team-oriented environment focused on motivation and accountability across all F&B areas, including Conference and Banqueting Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations in all F&B operations, particularly in event settings Prepare and report on sales results, productivity, and other relevant management metrics, with detailed insights into Conference and Banqueting performance
