Experienced Debtors Controller – Cape Town
Salary: R20,000 p/m

We are looking for a skilled Debtors Controller to manage the full debtors function in a dynamic company. If you have extensive experience in debt collection, account reconciliation, and managing retail accounts, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
● Allocate payments and match to processed invoices
● Investigate and process customer credit requests and rebates
● Reconcile customer accounts and manage consignment sales
● Collaborate with Sales Reps to resolve blocked accounts
● Generate invoices, credit notes, and monthly debtors' statements
● Handle debt collection via phone and email
● Prepare reports: Outstanding Debtors, Consignment Billing, and more
What We’re Looking For:
● No qualification required – but it would be an advantage to have one
● 10+ years of experience in debtors, credit control, or collections
● Strong account reconciliation and bookkeeping knowledge
● Experience with retail debtor accounts (e.g., Checkers, PnP, Spar)
● Excellent communication and analytical skills
● Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively
