Introduction
A position has become available for a Business Intelligence Support - SAP BW to join our dynamic team.
The purpose of the Business Intelligence Support – SAP BW is to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of the SAP BW system, both old and new. The role shall provide technical support, monitor system performance, and implement enhancements and requires strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Provide technical support for SAP BW system, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new features and enhancements.
- Conduct testing to ensure the queries built meet business requirements and are free of defects.
- Maintain system documentation and provide training to users as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SAP BW technology.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required by management.
- Matric.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, IS, or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of experience in SAP BW support/testing.
- Strong technical knowledge of SAP BW, including data modelling, data extraction, and reporting.
- Experience in a support environment including handling support tickets, reporting and escalation management.
- Strong skills in SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP BW.
