Payroll Specialist

Our client, specializing in Financial Planning, is currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist based in Bedfordview, Gauteng. The successful candidate should come with at least 2 years’ experience within a similar role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate EMP201 returns and notify clients of PAYE obligations before the 7th of the following month.
- Complete and submit Annual and Bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations.
- Issue IRP5 certificates, as necessary.
- Prepare and file annual Workers' Compensation Fund (WCA) returns.
- Ensure compliance with South African Revenue Service (SARS) regulations for all clients.
- Address and resolve any SARS compliance issues affecting the client portfolio.
- Facilitate the registration of new payroll clients for PAYE, UIF, and WCA contributions.
- Timely request payroll details and relevant documentation for monthly payroll processing.
- Compile and distribute payroll, including pay slips and pertinent reports to a client base of 120 monthly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant Tertiary qualification.
- Valid Driver’s License and own Vehicle.
- Essential: Extensive knowledge of Pastel and Microsoft Office.
- Essential: Tax principles and legislative knowledge.
