An internationally renowned cosmetic manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Operations Executive. This role involves supporting and executing the company's strategic plans, overseeing performance, and ensuring financial success.
This role requires a degree qualified Electrical or Chemical Engineer from the Pharmaceutical or Cosmetic industry. #NON-NEGOTIABLE
Key Performance Areas
Executive Strategy
- Collaborate with the CEO to drive organizational vision by translating overall company strategy into actionable steps for growth.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Offer strategic direction, leadership, and management of operational and financial activities aligned with the Board's strategic objectives.
- Approve corporate operating strategies, business plans, and cash flow in collaboration with the CEO.
Operations
- Develop and implement strategies to drive operational process improvements.
- Oversee operational activities of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Packaging, Warehouse, Dispatch, People, and Performance to ensure strategic objectives are met.
- Convert strategic objectives into actionable plans for performance and growth, aiding in the achievement of company-wide goals.
- Drive the implementation of business plans tactical, financial, and organization in consultation with the CEO.
- Manage overall operational performance against agreed objectives.
- Develop, implement, and review plans with the CEO to ensure operational efficiency and institute corrective actions and conduct regular reviews.
- Comply with legal requirements of the company.
- Build relationships with Distributors and Suppliers.
People Management
- Head the following departments: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Packaging, Quality Assurance, Technical Services, Health & Safety, Projects, Warehouse & Dispatch.
- Execute the teams' performance management process according to company procedures and policies.
- Allocate resources in consultation with the CEO to meet prioritized organizational goals, both human and physical.
- Ensure direct reports are equipped with the necessary skills to enhance performance and profitability.
- Manage, lead, and coach the operational team to ensure continual improvement in capability, knowledge, and performance.
- Foster an organizational culture and corporate environment conducive to success.
Operational Finance
- Adhere to and manage budgets.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
- Develop specifications for operational projects to ensure feasibility and financial viability.
- Participate in investigation teams for ARs where appropriate.
- Report to the CEO on operational performance, planning, budgets, cash flow, and overall management, including strategic plans, monthly.
