Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior Manager, Finance
Manage all accounting aspects for South Africa. Provide financial support to all levels of the company by analyzing the finances of the organization and provide operational support to management. Assist in ensuring that all Company policies, country laws, and tax regulations are followed. Manage and Lead the Finance team.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Finance Africa & Asia.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Full oversight of the organization's balance sheet in coordination with the Accounting department in the company headquarters.
- Responsible for analyzing financial statements, review and notation, Sales and General Administrative expense cost trend analysis and variance explanation reporting.
- Provide on a timely basis monthly and quarterly financial reports, showing actual versus forecast and budget reviews.
- Oversee process of tenant billing chargeback including supporting documentation and financial sign-off. Responsible for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) – Annual Budget & Quarterly Forecast Submission.
- Overall management of New Build Process, Inventory and Regional Site Maintenance project accounting.
- Manage the purchase orders, (including approval documentation), invoice coding & processing and payment.
- Supervise Local Tax books and statutory filings and External Audit Process.
- Work cohesively with the team to provide site profitability analysis & comments and any other ad hoc financial reports as requested by management.
- Supporting the Group on financial accounting and emerging issues.
- Review of appropriate applications of IFRS & US GAAP.
- Evaluation & improvement of the Internal Control environment.
- Overseeing and assisting with M&A transactions.
- Overall review & management of Accounts Receivable ensuring accurate billing to Clients and prompt receipts. Acting as point of contact for majority of queries raised by SBA Group Finance. Preparation of quarterly & annual Income Tax calculations.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's & Honors Degree in Accounting with CA qualification required;
- At least 6-10 years experience and 3-7 years’ post articles experience.
