Master Planner - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

As a Master Planner, you will play a pivotal role in interpreting and shaping our sales forecasts into actionable plans, ensuring seamless operations and efficient production scheduling. Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation and development of a rolling 24-month sales forecast to inform the Master Plan and Master Production Schedule.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate Sales and Operations Planning.
- Lead the Master Production Scheduling process, optimizing resource allocation and production efficiency.
- Conduct Material Requirement Planning to ensure timely procurement of raw materials, printed packaging, and components.
- Manage inventory levels, balancing supply and demand to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Drive monthly forecasting and demand planning activities, anticipating market trends and customer demands.
- Utilize and manage the Planning Module within the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to coordinate timely deliveries and shipments.
- Monitor supplier shipments and open purchase orders, proactively addressing any discrepancies or delays.
- Conduct costing analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with configuration management standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with advanced computer literacy.
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or Operations Management.
- Understanding of accounting principles and procedures, with the ability to implement internal controls.
- Postgraduate qualification in commerce-related fields (excluding MBA) is advantageous.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems is essential.
- Previous experience in Master Planning within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven production experience would be beneficial.
