A Wholesaler and retailer of automotive replacement parts are currently looking to employ 2 Junior Parts Sales Consultants to start immediately, or as soon as possible, at their branch in Selby.
*MUST HAVE CAR PARTS/SPARE PARTS SALES EXPERIENCE – AT LEAST 1 TO 2 YEARS SALES EXPERIENCE*
*Requirements:*
• Grade 12
• Min 1 year’s car spares sales experience
• Must have good communication skills and be well presented
• Must have the ability to work in a computerized environment
• Must be target driven and a team player
• Own Transport
*Duties include, but are not limited to:*
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Prepare action plans/ schedules to identify specific targets and execute to meet or exceed Sales/Gross Profit budget.
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationship.
• Coordinate with company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales and maintain quality and consistency of service.
• Identify new sales prospects and develop business.
• Follow up new leads and referrals resulting from field/marketing activity.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Acquire, maintain and develop product knowledge.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
• Project a position image of company products and services.
• Assists in marketing and promotional activities.
• Adhere to company policies/instructions on pricing, assigned customer, arrear sales reconciliation and warranty policy.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow up and good achievement reports.
• Maintain and safe keep office equipment, company vehicles (where assigned) and other sales and marketing materials.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered from market to appropriate company staff.
• Gather and report competitive activities, price/product positioning and change in customer preferences /demands to appropriate company staff.
• Develop and implement special sales to reduce slow moving and non-moving stock.
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by Management/Supervisor
