The ideal candidate must have the following experience and qualities (Non-Negotiable) Overseeing the Pulleys departments operations and full functions Reports directly to Top Management (Directors) Initiating and leading meetings for new projects/orders to determine specific job requirements and scheduling. Generating Production and Costings Reports Following up DAILY relating to: Supervision and scheduling of all production activities Work in progress relating to: Supplier and Subcontractor orders. Work on the factory floor Supervision of daily QC activities in the factory and ad hoc at subcontractors. Maintaining and Monitoring Health and Safety - QMS 9001:2015 o Maintenance of the quality system and supervision of compilation of the data books required for specific projects. Supervise and maintain digital production schedules for multiple projects. ( You will have a material controller and production planner to assist with this .) Management of at least 50 Employees (Various Levels) requires the following: A positive, but strict Management Style . Must be able to approach Employees in a positive manner, but also balance this with the required discipline. Supervision of Engineering, Droughting, Planning and Admin Staff Other employees vary from Laborers to Qualified Tradesman Good communication and a positive and trusting relationship with Foreman and Supervisors are a priority and seen as a Non-Negotiable for the division to run smoothly and effectively. Training of lower-level Management and Staff when required (On the Job training) Evaluating performance and productivity of all Employees on an ongoing basis Knowledge of Metal Industry Bargaining Council (MEIBC) will be an advantage.
