*Role Overview:*
As a Senior Staff Nurse in our ITU Unit, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, managing a wide range of medical conditions. You will be providing leadership and mentorship to junior nurses while promoting the delivery of evidence-based practice and the highest standards of patient care.
*What You’ll Bring:*
* *Registered General Nurse (RGN)* with a valid *NMC Pin*.
* Extensive experience working within *Critical Care*.
* Completed *Critical Care Course (60 Credits)*.
* A strong understanding of clinical and technical aspects of ITU/ICU care.
* Ability to manage and prioritise a busy caseload in a high-pressure environment.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and a positive patient experience.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based care to critically ill patients in the ITU/ICU.
* Lead and support the nursing team in providing patient-focused care, ensuring high standards of clinical practice.
* Mentor and support junior staff and contribute to their professional development.
* Ensure that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and in line with hospital policies.
* Collaborate with consultants, doctors, and allied health professionals to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to care.
* Participate in the assessment and management of complex critical care patients.
* Ensure patient safety through regular monitoring and the use of advanced equipment.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
