Hire Resolve's client, a luxury hotel based in Cape Town, is seeking a dedicated Pool Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing pool operations and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for guests. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pool area, manage staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities Oversee daily pool operations, including maintenance, sanitation, and safety standards. Supervise and schedule lifeguard and pool staff, ensuring adequate coverage. Manage pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment repairs. Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations. Monitor guest activities to ensure safety and enjoyment, addressing any concerns promptly. Conduct regular training for staff on safety protocols and customer service. Develop and implement programs and activities to enhance guest experience at the pool area. Maintain records of pool operations, including maintenance logs and incident reports. Requirements: Previous experience in pool management or lifeguarding. Strong knowledge of pool maintenance and safety procedures. Certification in CPR, First Aid, and lifeguarding. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage guest inquiries and issues effectively. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
