From home improvement tasks to large-scale projects, the diverse range of products caters to independent contractors and major wholesalers alike. Minimum Requirements:
Matric qualification
Tertiary degree beneficial but not required
Valid driver's license and own vehicle
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel, etc.) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales goals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing high-volume workflows
Strong work ethic and customer-focused approach
Ability to understand and communicate basic financing
Flexibility to work outside regular hours to meet customer needs
Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed sales targets
Provide service to walk-in and call-in customers
Visit prospective and existing customers to generate and process orders
Actively prospect for new customers through physical or telephonic sales calls
Provide ongoing service and follow-up with current customers
Process customer orders using the accounting system
Prepare and submit sales call reports, prospect lists, and lost sales reports
Continuously improve product knowledge by studying equipment specifications
Collaborate with all departments for seamless operations
Conduct market and competition research
Monitor industry trends and developments in the earthmoving equipment sector
Develop and present sales proposals tailored to client requirements
