Monitor the loading of delivery and depot vehicles, ensuring a high standard of housekeeping is maintained. Relevant Degree is essential. Lead, coach and mentor warehouse assistants and receiving & dispatch controllers to ensure high levels of productivity and morale. Manage inventory in the JHB depot by cyclical stock takes and picking by batch as well as efficient stock rotation. Collaborate with various departments to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Manage the hygiene of all product in the depot in line with BU requirements. Manage depot in line with all food safety and ISO requirements. Manage daily, weekly and monthly warehouse reports/score cards into JHB depot manager. Manage the accuracy and efficiency of fine picking. Manage bulk receipts of cross dock stocks into and out of the depot. Manage the warehousing cold storage and their subsequent SKUs. Manage the loading/offloading of import and export containers for the JHB warehouse. Ensure all relevant paperwork is managed in line with requirements stipulated in work instructions, inclusive of picking slips. Manage the CHEP account and pallets for the JHB depot. Manage the sample issuing and no charge invoice process to lab for quality testing/customers. Manage housekeeping of all warehouses.
