The primary responsibility will be to ensure that all designs are accurate and delivered within project timelines and tender submission deadlines. This position is well-suited for a dedicated Electrical Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality designs and contributing to dependable project estimations. Responsibilities: Estimation Department: Identify appropriate design codes and standards. Familiar with the South African codes and standards. Quality of work planning/organization. Timely execution of assigned tasks. Conformity of prepared designs to design manual, codes and standards. Accurate designs. Timely delivery. Accurate submitted calculation notes. As-built drawings. Preparation and submission of detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Quality of quotations requested, analyzed, and compared for conformity to project specifications. Quality and timeliness of inputs provided for the estimation scope, ensuring accurate project costing. Participation in compiling the final project offer, ensuring all estimation and technical aspects are accurate and aligned with tender requirements. Requirements: BEng (Electrical) Degree. ECSA membership. 5 years experience. Understanding of engineering standards. Good presentation capability. Good team member with concern for details, effectiveness, efficiency, quality and safety.
