Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:
University degree in either Business Administration, Marketing and Sales, B. Pharm or a senior tertiary degree in related field of health sciences
Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Management role within a Sales and/or Marketing department of a multi-national Medical Device or Pharmaceutical company
Experience in direct management of sales team/s
Strong financial and business acumen and experience with budgeting, financial analysis and defining sales budgets
Experience in successful implementation of sales strategies in local market
Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills
Proven leadership skills to lead and inspire sales team to achieve sales goals and targets
Ability to think strategically developing sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives
Duties and Responsibilities
Converting marketing strategies from the Business Managers into effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
Managing a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, t raining, and support to help them meet their sales targets
Monitoring sales performance and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
Building and maintaining high- level relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure business growth, customer satisfaction and retention
Collaborating with other departments, such as Customer Services, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics, to coordinate and streamline operations
Monitoring market t rends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition and adapt strategies accordingly
Assisting with development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality standards are met
Creating value to leverage current footprint in targeted accounts for higher level access to unlock further sales potential and growth
Translating business strategies int o clear objectives and tactics for communication and execution to sales leadership
Responsible for 100% achievement of region's sales plan
