Minimum Requirements: - MSc or BSc/BEng in Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) Registration
- Proven experience (10+ years) in bridge design and construction
- Proficiency in structural design software like Midas Civil, SOFiSTiK, RM Bridge (or similar)
- Registered Bridge Inspector certification (Advantageous)
Duties and Responsibilities: - Design and analysis of bridges, culverts, and other structural elements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Utilize advanced engineering software and tools for efficient design
- Prepare comprehensive contract documentation, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Manage the tendering process and contract award.
- Administer contracts, monitor progress, and resolve disputes.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Implement quality assurance and control measures to ensure project deliverables meet standards.
- Prepare accurate and timely invoices and ensure timely payment collection.
- Monitor project budgets and identify potential cost overruns.
- Implement strategies to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare proposals and presentations to secure new projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability and identify potential risks.
- Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, technical reports, and final project reports.
