Maintenance Manager - Poultry Farm
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Maintenance Manager - Poultry Farm who is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities on the poultry farm to ensure the efficient operation of equipment, buildings, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as experience in managing a team of maintenance technicians.
Responsibilities: - Organizing and coordinating daily duties in terms of maintenance.
- Guiding Assistant Maintenance manager and supervisors to see to their daily duties.
- Identifying maintenance needs and assisting with maintenance.
- Controlling, supervising, and planning house preparation and cleaning.
- Crisis Management ensuring that all portable electrical equipment is safe as per daily duty.
- Ensuring weekly and daily checklist is completed for various equipment.
- Ensuring that all monthly checklists are complete, including testing of equipment.
- Completing preventive Maintenance on a monthly basis.
- Taking stock of all equipment and consumables and keeping records.
- Ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems are in good working condition.
- Ensuring that all employees are following company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring houses are thoroughly prepared before housing.
- Relieving the Electrical on weekends and leave periods.
- Keeping maintenance list of all motors and generators on the farm up to date.
- Conducting maintenance and repairs within your scope in newly built or current houses.
- Building new chicken houses and installing and commissioning all new equipment into houses.
