General Sales Manager - Stellenbosch, Western Cape Our client is seeking a
General Sales Manager to lead their sales team and maximize profitability for both new and used vehicle segments, based in
Stellenbosch, Western Cape. This role involves setting strategic sales goals in collaboration with dealership leadership, while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage strategic sales plans for profitability and growth.
- Motivate and manage the sales team to achieve targets and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Oversee operational effectiveness and productivity within the sales department.
- Manage the sales department budget in collaboration with the Dealer Principal and Financial Manager.
- Support sales staff in closing deals and manage vehicle evaluations and trade-ins.
- Attract, retain, and develop sales personnel.
Minimum Requirements: - Senior Certificate (Grade 12); a diploma in Management, Marketing, or Sales is advantageous.
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing successful sales teams in the automotive retail sector, with knowledge of both new and used car markets.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and understanding of relevant regulations (CPA, FICA, POPIA, NCA).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in financial management and budgeting.
- Valid driver’s license.

Salary: R38 000 - R43 000 Basic + benefits
