Financial Management: - Prepare and distribute monthly management reports within agreed timelines.
- Develop quarterly cash flow forecasts to guide the Company’s financial planning.
- Generate financial reports comparing actual expenditure against forecasts on schedule.
- Create financial reports required for team members and the Board of Directors.
- Complete annual financial reports and statements per South African legal standards and timelines.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Operations, as well as department heads, to establish annual budgets.
- Manage the payroll system and Provident Fund Scheme, ensuring timely payments to employees, SARS, Provident Fund, and Medical Aid Providers.
- Oversee tax planning, including VAT-related matters, and maintain compliance with local tax and benefits requirements, ensuring all necessary reports and payments (SARS, PBO status, NPO status, etc.) are submitted.
- Enforce statutory financial control, management, and accounting requirements.
- Arrange and oversee external audits, ensuring efficient audit processes.
- Complete accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, debtors, creditors, and inter-company accounts.
- Implement and maintain finance policies, procedures, and systems across teams.
SHEQ Responsibilities: - Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and related regulations.
- Report any incidents or accidents during work hours promptly.
- Adhere to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards.
- Ensure service delivery at client sites aligns with company quality and SHEQ policies.
- Complete training in Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality practices.
- Fulfill all novice job description requirements and comply with company policies, including safety regulations.
- Ensure the safety of the public and fellow employees, and report any unsafe conditions or practices to the SHEQ Manager.
