Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Consultant on a 6-month contract basis to assist our client in optimizing and enhancing their Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role is crucial for supporting ongoing projects, providing hands-on expertise, and ensuring the smooth operation and enhancement of Workday HCM functionalities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Workday configurations, process improvements, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workday HCM Configuration: Manage and execute configurations across various HCM modules, including Core HR, Absence Management, Compensation, and Benefits.
- Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify process improvements, and implement solutions within Workday HCM.
- Data Integrity and Validation: Ensure data accuracy and compliance within the Workday HCM system, conducting regular audits and validation checks as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by providing insights and recommendations on HCM functionality and best practices.
- Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain advanced custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR decision-making.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Address and resolve system-related issues, collaborating with the internal team and Workday support as necessary.
- Documentation and Training: Create and update user documentation, SOPs, and provide training or guidance to HR end-users to enhance system utilization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Workday Expertise: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Workday HCM Functional Consultant, with proven experience in multiple HCM modules.
- Configuration Skills: Proficiency in Workday configurations across Core HR, Absence, Compensation, and Benefits modules.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Certification (Desirable): Workday HCM certification(s) would be advantageous but is not essential.

- Contract Type: Full-time, 6-month contract.
- Day Rate: £500 per day, based on experience.
- Work Arrangement: Primarily remote, with occasional on-site visits as required.
