Key Responsibilities: - Leadership & Staff Development: Lead and motivate a diverse team, optimizing performance through training, coaching, and development.
- Operational Management: Oversee branch operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards, including ISO requirements and customs processes.
- Financial Management: Manage branch P&L, budgeting, and cost controls to ensure year-on-year bottom-line growth.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maximize client satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and implementing client-centric processes.
- Business Development: Support the sales team, approve proposals, and foster relationships to attract and retain business.
Requirements: - Matric or equivalent qualification.
- A degree or diploma in supply chain, freight forwarding, or operations management is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in logistics and supply chain in a management role, with strong knowledge of customs clearing.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing change initiatives.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
