You will understand how to build sound relationships and consensus with unionized and non-unionized workers to effectively resolve grievances and arbitrations.
Requirements:
- Matric with relevant HR qualification - Degree/Diploma
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- People oriented and results driven
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
- Knowledge of payroll and relevant computer programs ie. - SAGE / SAP / VIP / PASTEL or other
- Advanced EXCEL skills
- CCMA / Bargaining Council experience
