The ideal candidate will ensure seamless repairs and preventative maintenance of inspection, coding and marking equipment for the packaging industry, ultimately driving business success and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.
Job Knowledge
Understanding of coding and marking systems and machines
Full understanding of the theory of operation of the broad range of technology supported by these machines
Customer value chain
Understand the IT requirements of the products
Application of MS office
Understand the functionality of the JD Edwards ERP system
Understand the customer install base
Understand the functioning of the equipment and manufacturing processes of customers.
Understand the maintenance principles for the product range.
Engineering knowledge.
Qualifications
Matric
N4 Technical qualification as a minimum for entry
At least 5 years as a qualified artisan in electrical or electronics (ideal)
- Must have a valid driver's license
