PROJECT ENGINEER: SOFTWARE Cape Town for a year and relocate to the USA
Supports production facility related to production and engineering development activities

Qualification and experience : - BEng OR Masters in Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical EngineeringÂ
- Minimum 3 years working experience in medium/heavy duty commercial system development process (vehicle architecture, specifications, performance requirements, simulation, selecting components, integration, build and validation)
- Experience in one or more of the following: vehicle control, embedded development, battery management, telematics and functional safety
- Proven experience in coordinating and supporting validation activities and creating technical reports
- Project Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Responsibilities: - Develop industry-leading solutions for areas of technical responsibility
- Engage with industry suppliers and interact with engineering development teams
- Support vehicle builds, testing and validation
- Ensuring the seamless interaction between software applications and hardware components.
- Execute engineering development processes flawlessly
- Leveraging a robust understanding of cybersecurity within the automotive software development environment.
- Execute engineering development within budget
- Execute engineering tasks for production
The candidate will work from South Africa with the possibility to emigrate to the USA after 1 year.
