Application requirement for Tables Dealers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Fully experienced in dealing the following games:
- Blackjack
- American Roulette
- Poker
- 1-3 Years experience as a Dealer with references
Experiential and Educational Requirements:
- Previous Customer Service / Frontline experience.
- Marketing experience is an advantage.
- Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook packages.
- Must possess the ability to speak publicly.
Skills Knowledge:
- Enforces guest procedures politely – no touching of cards etc.
- Can explain aspects of the game in a clear and concise manner.
- Reacts professionally to personal comments by guests.
- Able to accept call bets with necessary announcements.
- Chip cutting is neat and accurate – can drop cut.
- Pays and takes using both hands.
- Positions chips correctly during transactions.
- Can pay out “in total” quickly and accurately.
- Game pacing – does not slow game down unnecessarily.
- General dealing skills.
- In control of the table, confident, assertive without being rude.
- Blackjack/Roulette & Poker pay-outs are calculated quickly and accurately.
