Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification - (hospitality, events, events co-ordination)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in organising events and/or workshops
- Computer literate - MS Office
- Show competency in management of budgets
- Excellent people skills
- Flexible, passionate and HIGHLY organised
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - in ENGLISH and Afrikaans with the ability to interface withpeople of all levels
- Valid driver''s license
- Curiosity to learn and show an interest in a wide range of TOPICS
- Track record of excellent customer service
- Ability to work in the Stellenbosch area and enjoy the outdoors
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and host +-150 Workshops ranging in topics from cooking, gardening and crafts to sustainability
- Identify opportunities for seasonal garden-based events that are on brand and that showcase the diversity and beauty of this LARGE farm garden
- Implement and co-ordinate the effective planning, marketing and execution of seasonal garden events, in conjunction with the relevant divisions within this establishment
- Development and planning of workshops with diverse specialists and presenters
- Writing of informative and explanatory blurbs on workshops for the website
- Administration and budgeting of every workshop
- Addressing and responding to customer complaints
- Marketing of this well know establishment''s brand and ICONIC products (there are many)
