We are looking for a meticulous Senior Accountant to help maintain financial accuracy and integrity as we continue to grow. If you have a strong background in accounting and finance, combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving, this may be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recording Financial Transactions: Accurately record and classify financial data to maintain integrity in our accounting system.
- Reviewing Bank Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reviews of bank reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Preparation of Management Accounts: Generate and interpret monthly management accounts to support decision-making.
- Preparation of Financial Packs: Prepare comprehensive financial packs, providing valuable insights to senior management.
- Assisting with the filing of tax returns (PAYE, VAT and income tax) and tax payments to ensure compliance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CA(SA) or partly qualified CA would be advantageous!
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- ERP: Acumatica – Highly advantageous
