Senior Accountant position available in Stellenbosch.
Looking to appoint an experienced accountant with extensive tax experience who can work accurately under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements which include complex tax calculations.
- Process transactions in Xero, Pastel Partner and Pastel Online to trial balance.
- Reconcile bank accounts and investment statements.
- Prepare management statements and budgets.
- Prepare audit files for auditors.
- Reconcile VAT and complete and submit VAT201 via e-filing.
- Register entities for Income Tax and VAT.
- Prepare monthly invoices and levies.
- Prepare financial statements in Draftworx.
Requirements:
- CA(SA) or SAICA registered.
- 4+ years experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (English and Afrikaans).
- Proactive and deadline-oriented.
- Responsible and accountable.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Up to date with corporate tax regulations.
