Purpose:
Regional Commercial Manager (Gauteng, Cape Town and Durban) is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment targets, marketing, financial and structural strategies in all the branches/ provinces in that region. These duties include visiting hospitals, universities, practices to meet with medical doctors, engage with branch administrators in the achievement of recruitment goals and expectations and gathering research about the target market.
Main Responsibilities:
•Recruits medical doctors by maintaining and expanding branch/ province member base and managing staff.
•Stakeholder management of branch councils, external stakeholders (public and private hospitals, medical schools, etc.)
•Accomplishes regional human resource objectives by performance management of staff including incentives.
•Plans and reviews incentive and campaign strategies.
•Achieves regional/ provincial operational objectives by contributing regional member information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
•Prepares and completes action plans and implements recruitment initiatives across all branches and ensures member value proposition standards are communicated and maintained.
•Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends, determines regional branch system improvements, and implements change when necessary.
•Meets regional targets objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Establishes target objectives by creating a recruitment plan and quota for branches in support of national objectives.
•Maintains and expands member base by counseling branch administrators, membership offers, etc, building and maintaining rapport with branch councils, stakeholders (hospitals, medical schools), and identifying new recruitment opportunities.
•Competitive intelligence reports are presented to HQ and continuously tracks competitors.
Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, Business-related or relevant field
•3 – 5 years’ Experience as a Regional Sales/ Commercial Manager
•Experience in dealing with sales (closing deals, hunter mentality)
•Driver’s License and own car
•Able to travel within region, other provinces and HQ
