A global pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Coastal Sales Manager to drive sustainable, profitable growth of the product portfolios/ therapeutic categories with appropriate strategic direction, brand stewardship and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities: - Drives motivation of sales force towards brand aspiration
- Drive adoption and execution of promotional and advertising strategies within the sales team that grow brand market shares against competitors in all relevant channels.
- Develops Territory Sales Plan with collaboration with Divisional Head, Finance and other Business Functions
- Market analysis and gathering insights to arrive at strategic intent and execute accordingly
- Lead the implementation of marketing function’s tactical plans and monitor the roll out
- Implementation, monitoring and measurement of the success of the developed strategies and to ensure that they are flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment
- Proposes regional sales targets with agreement of Divisional Head
- Partners with all relevant local stakeholders and cross functional leaders
- Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans
- Sources insights and intelligence to advise marketing function of effective strategy alignment
- Partners with the Marketing, Medical, Supply chain, Key Accounts, Training and Regulatory depts. to optimize the brand performance in a functionless approach
- Collaborates if required with other TM’s on joint projects
- Identifies business opportunities and develops business cases along with marketing function
- Ensures full compliance with external and internal rules and regulations governing marketing and sales activities as well as ethics in all elements of job function within team and self.
Education: - Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences advantageous
Requirements: - Experience as a Product Manager or Sales Manager is advantageous
- Proven experience in Pharmaceutical industry
- Pharmaceutical Sales Representative experience
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written communications
- Financial and budgeting skills and experience
- Detailed track record of successful sales initiatives advantageous
- Digital literacy (MS Office programs)
- Financial literacy
Preferred Requirements: - Proven experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company
- Documented success in gaining or maintaining market leadership position in a sales or marketing position
- 2-3 years brand/sales management with Neuropsychiatry experience would be beneficial
