Windows Systems Administration: Managing Windows servers (AD/LDAP, DHCP, DNS, NPS, IIS, Hyper-V). Familiar with IIS modules (.NET, ASP, WebSockets). Providing desktop support and managing file servers. Responsible for server maintenance and administration. Networking: Experience with Core/Distribution/Access-switching (Edgecore, MikroTik, UniFi, D-Link). Managing VLANs, tunneling (ZeroTier, WireGuard), iptables/nftables, firewalls, and bonding. Configuring/troubleshooting FortiGate, MikroTik, pfSense. Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Data Dog, New Relic). IPAM/DCIM expertise. Database Support: Basic support for Postgres, Oracle, MariaDB (backups, restores, minor SQL queries). OracleDB knowledge (Oracle Data Pump, TNS Listener troubleshooting). Collaborating with DBAs for performance and availability. Server Hardware & Storage Administration: Managing SAN, NAS, DAS, LVM, LUN infrastructures (HPE SAN, Synology, FreeNAS). Expertise in HBA bonding, SCSI, storage optimization. Server assembly/upgrades, RAID, and HA configurations. Familiar with Veeam Backup, Quest NetVault, LTO-tape technology. Virtualization & Cluster Management: Administering Xen-based clusters (XCP/Xen) and Hyper-V. Managing virtual environments, performance, failover, storage integration. Experience with Hyper-V clusters, VMware vSphere, Docker, Kubernetes. Office Admin & Soft Skills: Implementing ITIL best practices (ITSM) and IT asset management (ITAM). Familiar with Jira, Confluence, supplier negotiation, and warranties. Collaborating with Finance and Audit teams. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
