RedCat Recruitment is seeking a trade tested and experienced MAINTENANCE FITTER for a well-established, growing concern position based in Kimberley, Northern Cape .
JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle.
Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Trade tested Fitter.
Duties include installing, servicing and repairing engineering machinery and equipment. Able to work on mechanical or electronical systems. Act as a supportive function to the Boilermaker / Welder and the Plant Manager in the execution of their duties.
3yrs+ previous years experience in a similar position.
Excellent understanding of safety rules in the manufacturing environment.
Welding experience.
Experience on motors and gearboxes.
Experience with conveyor maintenance.
Experience with elevators.
Coordinate staff work load.
Operate, implement and maintain mechanical equipment.
Maintaining and implementing of quality and safety standards.
General maintenance administration.
Must be willing to work long hours and overtime in a dusty working environment.
