Job Description:
Oversee the transition of engineering designs into production, ensuring smooth integration
Participate in the engineering release process, addressing industrial and process engineering needs
Develop detailed production line models for subassembly installation and resolve issues by implementing corrective actions
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align projects with business goals
Maintain thorough documentation of processes and findings
Engage in ongoing improvement efforts to optimize production processes and boost efficiency
Skills & Experience:
3+ years in industrial/process engineering, preferably in components or heavy machinery
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line dynamics
Experience in time studies and production line optimization
Collaborative team player with engineering and production teams
3D modeling software experience (advantageous)
Willingness to travel internationally as needed
Proficient in data analysis
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a team environment
Qualification:
Bachelor's/B Tech in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
