The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing technology projects from initiation through to completion. The IT Project Manager ensures that technology projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while managing resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Technical project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
- Weekly meetings with clients.
- Project Planning and Initiation: Define Scope, Develop Project Plan, Risk Assessment.
- Resource Management: Team Coordination, Resource Allocation.
- Budget Management: Cost Estimation, Financial Tracking.
- Timeline Management: Schedule Creation, Progress Tracking.
- Stakeholder Communication: Status Updates, Feedback Management.
- Quality Assurance: Standards Compliance, Testing and Validation.
- Risk Management.
- Change Management.
- Documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Project Manager (PMP, PRINCE2, Project+, Agile certification or similar).
- 5 years of IT project experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, under budget, and with 10% increased customer satisfaction.
- Proven record of achieving exemplary results including successfully delivering on 1 million rand plus projects with a 10% increase in customer satisfaction.
