We are looking for a CA(SA) in a CFO position with a company within the Financial Services industry based in Sandton.
Requirements:
- CA(SA)
- 5+ years post article experience
- Financial Services industry (Essential)
- Good communication skills
- Computer literate
- Self-starter; driven individual and good work ethic
- Valid drives license and own transport
Responsibilities:
- Has a detailed understanding and application of the accounting packages and systems used to generate the general ledger.
- Responsible for accounting system and reporting of the company.
- Timeous delivery of financial statements
- Has detailed understanding of all fund agreements.
- Is responsible for company compliance.
- Is responsible for taxation and all tax related issues.
- Is responsible for quarterly fund reporting.
- Assist with fund structuring and fund raising process.
- Is responsible for the administration function and assist with meeting legal obligations to fund investors.
- Is accountable and responsible for the company’s statutory obligations.
- Management of finance staff.
- Effectively liaises with investors.
- Timeous delivery and meeting of deadlines.
- Tenacity and a high standard of work ethic.
- General communication skills and a team player.
