Purpose Of The Job: Our Client is looking for an Experienced Commercial Vehicle Parts Sales Manager to join their Team.
Duties: - Continuously monitor and analyze parts sales performance and trends & pushing sales to channel partners
- Develop and implement sales scheme for parts sales (Parts with additional discounts, Parts to match seasonal requirements etc)
- Making proposal for approval – linked with stock available & ensuring minimum margin requirement
- Securing approval for scheme
- Rolling out scheme to channel partners
- Promoting scheme among channel partners
- Calculating incentive based on scheme after scheme completion
- Communication to channel partner for incentive achieved
- Coordination for paying incentive to channel partners
- Set sales targets and motivate sales team members to achieve them
- Meeting with key customers (with channel partners team/ direct)
- Beat plan to see key accounts
- Action plan discussion points
- Closer of actions discussed
- Exploring new avenues of business expansions- tie up with body repair shops, engine/ aggregate repair shops, Lubs, Tyres etc
- Training to channel partners sales team for parts identification & parts promotion in their regions
- Resolve customer/ Channel partners complaints – wrong supply, alternate part numbers
- Inputs on inventory planning- list of engine overhauling, body parts grouping etc
- Coordination with Local vendor for joint promotional activities
Requirements: - Must have Parts knowledge and experience of Commercial Vehicles
- Min of 3 years’ experience as a Commercial Vehicle Parts Sales Manager, in the Automotive Industry
- Experience with Parts Automotive PC Software, Excel
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate staff
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Motor Industry Experience is ESSENTIAL!!!
