Our client, a fast-growing, multimillion-pound turnover company with over 250 employees in the UK is looking for a qualified Management and Financial Accountant. Roles and Responsibilities -
Management Accounting
- Collaborate with sales, sourcing, and operations teams to prepare sales and margin reports and forecasts
- Maintain costing sheets for products and manage the weekly purchase order log
- Review stock reports regularly to support efficient stock usage and warehouse management
Financial Accounting
- Assist the Financial Controller in preparing monthly/quarterly accounts and ensuring compliance with banks and brand standards
- Perform variance analysis of operating expenses in coordination with functional managers
- Prepare weekly and quarterly cash flow statements
Qualifications -
- Fully qualified CA, CIMA, or ACCA
- Professional experience: 3-5 years in management/financial accounting in a commercial setting or at a firm of chartered accountants
- Proficient with SAGE 200 or similar accounting packages
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
Required Skills -
- Proven ability to work to strict deadlines, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with non-financial managers
- Availability for UK and European travel
