Bookkeeper
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in St Albans, for an experienced Bookkeeper to join on a full-time, permanent basis.
Joining this established firm, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions and records of clients.
The client are offering hybrid working and a competitive salary.
Previous Bookkeeping experience is essential with candidates needing proven knowledge using Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
About the role:
- Manage client VAT returns
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for multiple clients for management review
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
Hours and Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working opportunities after successful probationary period
- Salary up to 35,000 - dependent on experience
- Permanent
About you:
- Proven Bookkeeping experience within an accounting practice environment
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Accounts payable knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
