ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT / LEGAL CASHIER / FINANCE

We're seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant for a well- respected Law firm based in Solihull town centre.
As the Accounts Assistant you will be supporting the Office Manager with financial administration, whilst ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
YOu will also be assisting with day to day admin within the practice.
Previous experience gained within a Legal environment would be beneficial but not essential.
No doubt you will have first class Excel skills and strong attention to detail. If you've worked in a Legal / Solicitor's practice you may be familiar with Quill software, otherwise full training can be given.
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for
Allocation and posting of the daily cash received.
Preparing financial reports.
Producing invoices
Managing the credit control process
Assisting with any day to day administration as required to ensure a smooth operation of the practice
Regarding general Admin, you will be:
Managing office supplies
Keeping the electronic office diary up-to-date
Opening new accounts on the accounting software programme
Ensuring that the office electronic filing is up to date, logical and easily accessible for future reference
Ensuring that the post received is dealt with
Undertaking any other duties that may, from time to time, be reasonably required by the Partnership
